Is there a BajaNomad for travel in Colombia?

I'm flying there in November, and I wanted to know if any Nomads had experience with a good web forum related to travel in Colombia - particularly along the northern Atlantic region - Cartegena, Barranquilla, and Santa Marta? Muchisimas Gracias!!

Columbia? You like taking risks, eh? The website you need is the .gov site that publishes State Dept travel bulletins.

Nope. I'm not bragging (if I was, I'd post her picture). I just want a variety of sources to obtain info for my trip to Taganga in November. The place looks like Baja from the pictures posted on-line, except for the jungle that is adjacent to the white sandy beach.

I watch "Primer Impacto" nightly, so I get to see plenty of blood-splattered tidbits that happen in Colombia on a daily basis, but I wanted additional info along the lines of my trusty Lonely Planet guidebook that I consider to be golden.

I found the hotel I was looking for (Techos Azules), and there is a great webpage which provides info about Taganga for everyone here to read. It looks like a great time. I will post photos of TAGANGA, COLOMBIA for everyone to "inspect" in the Baja Photo section. Because of the semi-arid microzone and equitorial sunlight, there are plenty of cactii which should make for some great photography! :bounce: I just can't wait...
