Baja 1000 08
I picked up a SCORE 2008 Schedule at the Off Road Expo and was going over next years race dates and noticed the Baja 1000 was Nov. 19-22. Interesting
because the 19 is a Wed. meaning the race will start on thrusday the 20th. That would indicate another run south to probably La Paz. The loop version
always started on Friday. I wonder if the officals in Baja Sur made a deal with SCORE (Sal) to keep coming south.

08 Baja 1000...
Contingency will still be on Thursday..(pre registation set for Wednesday)
Also there is no mention of "Baja Sur" ... So it should be a loop race in "Baja California"

Where are the dates for the SCORE races next year ? I looked at the website and only the January race is for 2008. I want to make sure to ask work for
the correct dates for the 250 and 500.
Thanks
Paul

Normally, B1K loop races are on odd years, BCS trips on even. This year is an exception because of the anniversary event.

At least, not published. Wanna put some money on whether it'll go through San Felipe?
My opinion is that unless and until things change in SF, there will be NO races going through there.

This was from a Email reply from Sal saying the dates and "Location not decided". Think he would have said Ensendada if that was set. (was a inquiry
from Canada people trying to set up reservations and schedules).
While I like to watch the race there, it's nice to not have the canyons so torn up.

The card SCORE gave out said Baja 250 not San Felipe 250 so I assumed it was going to be out of Ensenada. I made hotel reservations in Ensenada for
both the 250 and 500. I can always cancel if it goes to San Felipe. I would like for it to be in San Felipe. It's a really fun place with great places
to watch the race from, beside Lou can buy the drinks.

I would make some reservations in Rosarito Beach for the 250
