Couple of La Paz Restaurants

Just got back from another enjoyable visit to La Paz. Based on previous trips we chose 2 restaurants this time that we had enjoyed very much.

Our favorite is Buffalo. This is essentially a steak house that serves U.S. Angus beef at what we think are reasonable prices. T-Bone dinner with baked potato and veggies is around $15. Service is super friendly. They have a hugh wine cellar if you're into that, and also make very good drinks.

Next we returned to El Patron. Compared to our last visit the food was disappointing. They used to serve great rolls, this time it was plain old stale white bread which we used for feeding the fish (the place is located over water). The lettuce they used for the caesar salad was room temperature at best, and the dressing had a sort of funky taste. The entrees were average and not very good value for what they charge.. Seems like maybe there's a new chef/owner since we were last there.

Finished off both evenings with ice cream at Fuentes, undoubtedly some of the best we have had anywhere!
