UPDATED: 7:50 am PDT October 19, 2007

OTAY MESA, Calif. -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers
seized $800,000 in marijuana at the Otay Mesa port of entry
Wednesday.

Officials said they detained a 27-year-old Tijuana man registered in
the SENTRI program around 3:30 p.m. He was driving a 1999 Volkswagen
with Baja license plates. Officers said they became suspicious when
the driver "exhibited signs of nervousness."

They searched the car's trunk, where officers said they found 16
large wrapped packages of pot.

The driver, a citizen of Mexico, was arrested and transported to the
Metropolitan Correctional Center for the alleged smuggling attempt.
The man's SENTRI privileges were revoked.

Nah, because it looked like the "Luv Bug" and any customs agent is going to check the luv machine out in case it tries to fly and it appears it had enough "MaryJane" to definately fly. Later------- bajafun777
