A walk on the beach

This morning these pelicans seemed to be walking on water.

There are hundreds of them in front of the estero. The bait is thick and the pelicans are very well fed.

The bait pangeros are working to thin the bait population. I love the way they stand in the bow of the panga and cast their nets!

Nice net casting pictures, Judy. I enjoy seeing the bait guys cast thier nets too, and also the handliners fishing from the rocks or pangas. It is as graceful and dancelike as tai chi on the beach!

Keep walking on the beach and keep on talking those photos---it is like being there.

After working so many hours lately it's a nice escape to just stare at and get lost in your pictures

There's a chill in the air here in Philly. Many thanks for the beautiful images. A very pleasant warm up.

I think I can see Tippi Hedron and Rod Taylor. Is this Bodega Bay?
