Loreto Bay fined and blocked from futher construction

Translated. (I also understand that they still need to get permits to start building the condos they already sold in Aqua Viva phase.)

Canceló Ayuntamiento la obra de remodelación del campo de golf"

"The municipal government canceled the remodeling of the golf course"

Raúl Villalobos Davis

"Loreto, Baja California Sur,- the fifth city government of Loreto, canceled the remodeling of the golf course that is the property of Loreto Bay, for not having its respective construction license.

Sealed legal notices were posted in the work areas, the reason for which is inconformity of articles 230 and 231 of the construction regulations of the municipality of Loreto, for not having the city’s authorization to perform construction work.

The director of public works, Florentino Robles Osuna, explained that the representatives of the council of developers sanctioned a temporary suspension on behalf of the municipality of the actions of remodeling the golf course.

Likewise, he added, they applied a fine of which will need to be paid in the treasury of the city, together with the license in order to continue their construction projects.

Remember that before an administrative sanction was applied to them, meanwhile they continue to cover the Nopolo touristic area with houses."

It is better to focus on what you want to happen, than dwell on what you don't want to happen. When you do the latter, it only fuels what you don't want to happen. :bounce: The Secret 101.

If YOU is them, they better focus; if YOU is me, then N/A. If YOU is you, then what is happening? Is what happens the same for you, me, LB condo owner, LB marketer, Loreto citizen and LB prospective purchaser?

You certainly have a high opinion of your opinion. Why don't you just tell us all what you want us to do. Quit beating around the bush, and focus on what you want.

Way to deep for me

But I'd venture to guess it has sumpin' to do with the management changes and restructuring Citibank has embarked upon.
It might be true that officials like to know who they are dealing with. Now that Butterbutt is out and with Grogan assuming a different role the politcal dynamics have changed, and not to the advantage of LBC.
Funny isn't it how it's just the golf course. That is a good start though.
Now that they have found an avenue to extract hard cash we'll most likely see more of the same.
Watch out LB your authentic Mex golf course may become a brown carpet.
Do Mexicans golf?
Anyhoo, I like it!!!!:bounce:

Practice with Anything but Dog Turds!Practice with Anything but Dog Turds!
Published on June 6, 2007 in Dogs.
This Irish “senior” says he is sane, and even has a note from his psychiatrist to prove it. But his golfing practice gives me serious pause about his claim.

I’m an ordinary bloke. I’m sane. I even have a certificate from my psychiatrist to prove it. He says I am making great progress.

He needed to try out his new golf clubs, but didn’t have any practice balls. He tried pine cones and they worked pretty well - even to the point that he was able to hit one through the door of a passing tourist bus! (I love that!)

But he realized they were not aerodynamic so they tended to curve. So he searched for alternatives and decided on hard dog turds. His target was his neighbors house.

If anyone is interested, dog turds are much more aerodynamic than pine cones. I could aim straight and true. The neighbours extension now bears a remarkable resemblance to a large Jackson Pollock. It looks a lot better. As long as the wind doesn’t blow from that direction.

Be sure to read the whole post and follow the link to an earlier post about golf.

I have hit pine cones, but the remnant pine tar on the club face is a problem, but not as much as a problem as remnant doggie doo.

See if you don’t agree that the guy is certifiable.

and if dat ain't enuff:

YIKES what am I doing!!! I'll go work on the roof some more.

Loreto's mayor resigned to run for another office. The temporary replacement needs money; I hear the city is broke.

Who has money around here? Ah, yeah, those guys, lol.

I thought the golf course redesign was about done. Hope so, I really don't want to see a bunch of laid-off, idle workers at Christmas time.

Disclaimer: Apparently, with the new ownership of Loreto Bay, I am now a Loreto Bay investor. :o:lol:

I went to play the course in Loreto once with my two teenage sons. We were going to rent clubs and play. The course was going to charge us $250. We walked away. No one was on the course. Que lastima!
