Pompano, yes, that is a great tip. I've used it many times. I wish I had seen these photos and others recently posted of your back yard - I would have stopped by for a visit this last October while we were camping in Coyote Bay!

I, too, have aloe all over my yard. The blooms are spectacular arent they? I remember back in the states I always had one in my kitchen, now I have them everywhere.

Excellent treatment for sunburn. Plenty of that in Baja. Pompano, I started some in June down there, wow have they grown.

P.S. drip irrigation a must or they grow very slow

I am completely ignorant ---------what does the aloe juice do for your cuts? antiseptic, or coagulant, or both???

----and I have had outdoor aloe plants here in N. California for years---never had one bloom tho. What gives?
