How many times do you pack and re-pack
Everytime we return to the US we think we won't have much to take back to Baja----------wrong.
John, who could now be hired as a professional packer, has repacked the truck three times, and there are still a couple of items that have to wait
until next trip.
As our neighbor says, by the time John is done, one would have trouble slipping in an extra envelope.
How many times do you pack?

That would be hard to count...it takes me a month and I live in my house that I drive down..

Once for the:
- Camper regular storage
- Camper hidden storage
- Utility bed compartments
- Cab (backseat of the crewcab removed and gets filled with Rubbermaid containers)
The cargo trailer packing begins begins at least a month before, like Al G, and esposo spends days in the garage strapping and unstrapping things
with multiple load adjustments for weight distribution.
If you see a white F350, Lance camper and white ute trailer in the corner of the Home Depot Ensenada parking lot that looks like they lost their load-
honk and wave or say hey!
It's just us partially unloading, then reloading the trailer again as more cargo gets added.

I make a complete list, pile it up in the garage, A pack the night before I go. I start gathering about three weeks before. I use the list from The
Baja Catch as a starting point.

Thank God my hauling days are over. Down to a Corolla now when we do drive up north, thankfully only once every few years. Did my share of loading and
overloading pick ups. Have a wife, that if I would have had an 18 wheeler, would have managed to overload it and leave not enough room for our poor
dog.
One of the reasons for having a Toyota, besides getting 40 mpg.

the last week before flying back to Baja, at least once a day. trying to fit everything most efficently. the day before, three and four and more if
needed. am of flight, rebalance a bit. last time...one bag weighed in at 49.6 and the other at 50.0. the ticket agent was most impressed, so was I.
reality\'s never been of much use out here...

No mas. Can't afford hot and cold running maids in US anymore. Had to give up 75 hours a week slaving away in corporate america, too. ohhowimissit!
