fun with lights

On our last trip to Bahia de los Angeles we were goofing around with a camera on a tripod after dark. My brother was trying to get me to write my name backwards with a flashlight while the camera shutter was open. That way it'd appear to be spelled normally on the exposure. I didn't do as well as he did ...:bounce::lol:

Those are great greg. I've done the same thing around the campfire, and finished it off with a nice shot of the moon:

Hey Mex - have any photos of that to share? It's amazing what you can get away with using a tripod, long exposure and some beer... :O

That's funny Paulina :lol::lol:. You're right, it probably doesn't fit in. BTW I am actually in that photo, kind of in the middle smoking a cigar. Also shown are my son Jesse and daughter Coleen (she's also smoking a cigar). Jeez I am such a bad influence. I should point out the moon belongs to Jesse.

Saludos to you and Dern

PS we are delivering our prints to the museum Jan 10 and the exhibit will start that weekend. Maybe we can get together on the 11th????

You do have to look kinda close but it's definitely a full moon. In retrospect it was probably a little reckless hanging a BA that close to the fire :lol:
