Relocating FM 3

I am moving from La Paz to Todos Santos..... Do I have to report this to immigration ?
If so is there a charge for the change of address?
I understand that the office in La Paz also is the office for Todos Santos.

Thanks,
CaboRon

Its not normally a charge-I recall, there is a space to add new addresses, titled poroga-i think. Bring evidence of the address, a cobrabante (current water or lights bill) and copy. It's not necessary except something you do when you renew, though, I think it should be done as soon as possible with the hacienda for your persona fisica and RFC if you are requesting facturas for receipts. The address should be correct on your facturas (formal receipts) and agree with your FM-3 and the hacienda which will charge a constancia (reprint) fee, about 100 pesos.

It is supposed to be done within 30 days of your move. Here in Manzanillo it took all of 30 minutes and there was no cost. I took in a copy of a utility bill and they made the change while I waited in one visit.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for the information. Although, gnukid, I really donīt know what you are talking about when you refer to RFC, facturas, and who is the hacienda and why would they be charging constancia. Maybe those are ownership issues.....I am just a renter.

Thanks again,

Cabo Ron
