Shell Island

For all you Shell Island fans.

Beach deserted. Fish camp very active with many pangas. Gils nets up and down beach. Shelling was good over Xmas week. Weather was COLD - down into the 30's at night. Some days windy. When not blowing, high 60's. Good time to take the quads out into the desert.

Stop by the Laguna Percebu Cantina and have lunch or at the bar - great Bloody Mary's!

I know I have seen other posts about Shell Island, but I can't remember where it is! Help! Looks like a place I need to see my next trip.

Perhaps if you went to my web site... clicked on the second link: About David K, Shell Island, and Old Map

There you will see an aerial photo and a satellite photo of 'Shell Island'.
