Sunrise here to was outrageous but with huge cumulus niimbus clouds thundering away...we all thought they were earthquakes till dawn broke and we saw the clouds! Even rained a little bit...what's it doing up north?

Noon in Ensenada......some blue sky, some unthreatening clouds, nice day. I don't know if the storm will hit us from the north or south but, they say we're gonna get it.

Fantastic shots Russ - great colors!

The ARCTIC STORM... It's coming to San Diego for sure. Should rain starting this evening, then turn to downpours all day Saturday and into Sunday. Wind gusts predicted for Saturday up to 45mph along the coast and valleys and up to 75mph gusts in the mountains! Could be nasty for the burned areas (mud slides, etc.)
I'm hoping it will clear up Sunday aftertnoon for the Charger playoff game here against Tennessee at 1:30pm!
Go Chargers!

Very nice sunrises - thank you everyone. It's a dark and stormy morning here and I needed that.

A Sunrise

Just in case any up north are wondering what it's like down here.

Coyote Bay - no wind, sunny and clear, 56 degrees (in the shade).. cool enough for another hot cup before feeding the birds. Will warm to the mid-70's later. All in all a good start to another fine Baja day.
