Secret Garden in Todos Santos

I read in the Onion some months ago that the Secret Garden in Todos Santos had a farmers market with fish and vegies on one day a week..... can't seem to find anything about this in a Nomad google search....

Do any of you know if this is still going on ? and if so, what day of the week.

Thanks,

CaboRon

This used to be on Saturday morning.
Not sure if still on. Just go down, have lunch and find out, I would suggest.
They are very nice people and you can buy the freshest organic letuce below shop-price.

Secret Garden does not have a "farmers market" anymore but Laura and Cruz usually take orders for bulk tamales, papaya salad etc and they are usually ready for sat pick up. I do believe you still can get whole chickens as well.
Juan has fabulous produce growing and you can walk around the garden and he will pick any veggies he has that are in season. Go in and have lunch and leave with your bags of fresh veggies! They also have internet access now which is a bonus.

maybe!

Marie-Rose,

Went to Secret Garden.com and a web page came up for a place in Santa Barbara.
It does look like a pretty cool place though not in TS.

Went and visited with James Black yesterday and saw his garden.... he does have a limited variety of fresh lettices and other vegetables.... whatever is growing at the time.... they no longer have a farmers market and do not have the fresh chickens anymore.... however they do have a fish truck come by on Wednesdays around noon who has a variety of fish and camaroon and also octipus.

It is a lovely setting and a very nice restaurant...

Oh, if you order tamales during the week they will make them for you for a Saturday pickup.
