Do you have to start a trip to post a trip report?

We were planning to leave yesterday, jan 23 for a month in BCS but husband felt crappy with the flu. Now he's feeling better and the camper's packed, utility trailer is hooked up, even the cats were loaded for travel.

With a turn of a key and that dreaded burr-umm, buuuurrr-mmmmm, buurrrrrrr.... sound of baterias muertas, here I sit waiting for the auto place to open so we can get new ones.
And the rig is sitting out on the street only partially blocking traffic, but totally blocking my truck's egress so once the rain squall passes we'll unhook the trailer so I can get my car out to go get the new ones.

This stuff usually happens for a reason, so they say. And at least it didn't poop out in the Home Depot Ensenada parking lot.

Besides, it's not Friday yet so we're still ok to start this journey.

I believe that things happen for a reason too. You just weren't meant to hit the road yesterday. I hope your husband feels better soon and you have a wonderful trip, that is when ever the powers to be give you a green light to go!
