That has to be Frank and Darlene Hesters' house.Have you met them? Very interesting and good people. There is a health issue with her, maybe that is why they are selling.?She has been very involved with the school there in Ligui.Lots of history between those two there in the surrounding area and involving the SOC also, as far as protection concerns. Any more info you have on this??:?:

Hello Sallysouth, yes we do know Darlene and Frank , They have been great members of the area, helping with the schools and helping the community in ways know else would even think of.

Have not had the chance to speak with them for awhile, as we havn't been able to return to the village for sometime. Darlene's health has not been as good as we would like to see , but she is very strong and was in good spirits the last time we were together.

The land i'm speaking of is just to the south of their house on the next beach, between ensenada blanca and ligui beach.

Is your property the one on the hill, overlooking the village of Ensenada Blanca and the sea on the other side?

Show us some pictures, please,

ligui, I know of the beach/area you speak of.It is a very beautiful peice of land.I wish you the best of luck but am a bit confused here. Are you trying to sell this land with a clear title? May I ask how you aquired that ? I was told that it is Ejido property.

yes the property was Ejido land , we ( myself and partner ) made a deal with them for the property more then ten years ago . It has been transfered from Certificado Parcelario ,which took a very long time to get, to Titulo De Propiedad. No.000000007347

Was a very long and friendly process , forming friendships that will last a lifetime.

Wow, congrats on that! As you are a diver, then you must have met Darlene'son What we all know him as "Diver Dan". The man can free dive and stay under for like 5 mins. or more!Have you met him? What a characture, and an awesome guy.I think it was in the old Amigos that I wrote a report on one trip that he dove into the water to swim with the Orcas , on the El Fuerte, a fishing boat that Mija capitained back then. That was the day the I sat on the transom, to look to my right and see a huge whale, head on the swimstep, big eye, looking right at me ,a foot away. And Dan was on the bow with everyone else by that time. How can I pull up this story ?I know it is in the archives somewhere??

yes i've met him , iwas camping on ligui beach when he came to visit frank and darlene . Very nice guy and very much a water person . Frank gave up some of his dive sites to me . Some of the best in the area . Still go to see these sites when i'm down there.

The local dive shops sometimes come close to these spots, but i've yet to see them find the best spots.

Search the word "transom" and you as the author.

Here's the first post you made on this in Jan of '05:

ensenada blanca

I'm heading down to loreto nov. 10 . if anyone is interested in this area . We are going to split the land into smaller lots and create a very small gated comunity. We have 7 acres over all.

Only going to have 6 lots , common area . private entrance for homeowners.

I fell in love with this house and the school bus the first time I saw them on the hill from our annual camp on a nearby beach. I wish I had the money to invest.... But I was always curious how the septic system worked? JK
