Best Ferry Routes?

Good day, nomads;

We are wondering how the ferry system from the mainland to Baja works and when (I can sense some giggles out there). Is there a web-link for further infomation?

Gracias,
Windgrrl

In March 2007 I took the ferry from Topolobampo to La Paz. I bought my tickets ahead of time through http://www.nativetrails.com/index.htm . the Ferry's website is: http://www.bajaferries.com/modules/content/?id=2. When you show up, you need to find the guy measuring vehicles and get yours measured, then take that to the window to get your ticket.

I have not taken the smaller ferry from Guaymas, so i do not know anything about it.

Have a safe trip. :coolup:

The Guaymas - Santa Rosalia ferry can be found at www.ferrysantarosalia.com I have taken it several times lately. Make a reservation via their telephone # (ask for Diego if you are Spanish challanged) and pay when you get there. During periods of bad weather or high winds expect delays. Also consider paying extra for a cabin for your comfort otherwise it can be a long 8-10 hours.(enough said about that) Suerte...........
