Author Unknown ?

In my collection of Baja literature, I have a manuscript describing a trip to the Vizcaino Peninsula called "Malarrimo Report"; it is signed "Furtado". No first name or date, but there is a reference to a date in 1973, so it had to be after that. I also know that he (she ?) lived in San Pedro at the time. This 10-page (plus addenda) manuscript is very well written; almost poetic in style. I would like to better attribute this document, and even contact the author. Can anyone help ?
I acquired the manuscript from Walt Wheelock about 20 years ago.
Also, I have many duplicate out-of-print books and periodicals relating to Baja, plus SW Americana, that I am willing to trade or sell.

You may contact me direct about "Furtado", or for a copy of my tradelist at: normanc@olypen.com .

I sent this thread to Chuck Potter asking if he knew anything.

His father-in-law was doing a lot of stuff around there and writing a lot back then.
