WHERE'S FERNA (FDT)?

FDT has not posted in several days, out of character for him. Has anyone heard from him? His last post was about his mom taking ill.

I heard from him Monday. His mom is still in hospital and he has been spending a good bit of time there. Had plans to be home more beginning this week, has some projects he's working on. And I noticed on another thread that he's giving Zoe (zforbes) a ride from the border to the bus station soon.

Thanks for the update on fdt... was wondering also. Obviously, family takes priority over posting on Nomad, huh?

Hi

Hi all, thanks for your concerne, my mom was in the hospital with neumonia for a week and got out last thursday afternoon, she is 86 and it was not good for her but the good doctors at Sharp Chula Vista gave her a good tune up but she was so bad that she had a feeding tube placed on her stomach and is at a convalecent home in San Diego, she has not bee awake as she was before, maybe the anesthesia or something but is still with IV antibiotics and oxigen. so I have been going up there dailyand have been with my hands full with kids, trying to make business work and my mom (thank God Simone has been a lot of help).Today I just didn't see her wake up at all, every day I think I'll know more tomorrow so I guess that is all I can say, I'll know more tomorrow, she seems very tired. I have been in contact with a few of you and yes, I plan to give Zoe a ride on friday I just hav'nt had time to post here but I'd like to restart the show on Monday and also add a Tijuana only show both in spanish and english for a new project I have embarked in along with the rest of us. I'm planing to attend the travel show that Ted has organized on Saturday also, but as I said before, I'll know more tomorrow.Saludos y gracias
Fernando
