La Paz Velodromo

Saw the thread " Bike Race at Ojo de Liebre" and it got me to wondering about the velodrome here in La Paz. We went out there and tried getting some info on bicycle race schedules. No one seemed to know about any events. Does anyone have a link to a schedule or a contact to find out what's going on?

A velodrome in La Paz? My dream come true - bike racing and Baja! If you find out more info and can get some photos of events that would be awesome!

I'm a bike-racing junky, and was surprised to hear about a La Paz velodrome. A bit of googling found a list of Mexico velodromes, and now I got a new mission to take my track bike to Baja. Anybody got info on a velodrome reported to exist in TJ, or anything else on this list????

For all you grouches, if you don't like bike travelers on Hwy 1, wait 'til you see me tooling down Hwy 1 on my fixed gear :lol::lol::P
