Tacos Mision - El Rosario
Tacos Mision has been mentioned many, many times before and we finally tried it. We usually don't stop in El Rosario, but got a late start.
Since we think the food is good at Mama's, but WAY overpriced, and we do not like Baja Bed and Breakfast, we were pleased to find Tacos Mision.
Now, describing what was in my Carne Asada Papa Relleno (40 pesos) will sound awful----just does not sound good, but it was DELICIOUS---ok, not on the
diet and did need extra lipitor.
Diced potatoes in butter
Carne asada
Corn
Crema
Cheese
and more
Plus, the salsa was similar to the Chinese hot chili oil---delicious and firey. The jalapenos were also great.
We very much recommend this place---next time I think I try something a little less rich----it all looked good.
Now, if we could just get Baja Cactus to build more hotels in other locations. His place is the best.

We stopped there this last Monday on our way north, finally, only to find standing room only.
Ended up eating lunch at El Paraiso in SQ.
Maybe next time!

Yup, that thread and a few others are why we decided to try it and tried the Papa Rellenos.

a couple years ago my son and i stopped in this place for lunch. the food was good but the service was horrible. the people behind the counter seemed
like we were imposing on them by ordering... maybe it was the fact that we hadn't had a shower in over a week (other than surfing!) but we'll never go
back.....
now it's La Mijita every time. say hi to Elsa (on the left with her husband and daughter) for me!
edit: on the east side of the road between the delagation and espinoza's market, across from the school.
