Baja River Bed
"Hey it's saturday, why don't we go down to the river bed and play in the water!"
February rains made for a fun time in the normally dry river bed north of San Quintin.

Looks like great fun.
What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Hey Paulina;
Is this the one you drove down/through to get around the roadblock?

Looks like the river by Vicente Guerrero? If it is, that one saved my brother-in-laws stolen truck.
His truck was stolen, but it was after a rainstorm. When the thief tried to drive it through thr river bed by Vicente Guerrero, he got stuck and
abandoned the truck.
Fun pictures---thanks
Diane

I missed these photos the first time 'round. They're real good and I enjoyed seeing them.
A good photo can bring back a quality memory. These bring back days of walking the arroyo grande at San Bartolo. Always seemed kinda exciting - the
water receding to puddles the size of swimming holes and such. Others may roll their eyes, but for a coupla weeks in my life this was THE thing to do
- really.
Thank you, Ken, for reminding me.

Puddles
We have all been through these at one time or another. The dip just out of Catavina northbound.
There are a series of nice bigger pools further up the arroyo. Getting there right after a good rain makes it perfect for a good soak and float.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

If those pics are of the Santo Domingo that's the same river that my friend Myron Smith (Taco de Baja's Dad) had to have his truck pulled across with
a team of horses in 1938 because it was so deep.
