sorry, too far out to confirm me yet. I live in Az so it is problematic.
might be in another baja zone that weekend.
we'd likely just land at Cetto and hope to see you someplace on the tour - we wouldn't be a good bet on the package part of the van costs. i will check into that cool motel in the area and see if i can get a rate on a driver for a day.

What is the itinerary? One van? One bus? Loading in San Diego someplace? Hours? For dinner too? I'm interested, but I don't want to drive myself back across the border.

tentative itinerary

in order to visit 5 wineries in the guadalupe valley, it will be a long day and it probably will not work for day trippers from san diego. if that is your interest, please let me know and we can arrange that (maybe a 3 winery tour) for another date.

this is the tentative itinerary (tentative because until i hear from the mini bus people, i am not booking the wineries...)

june 14 saturday
8:30am pick up by 25 person mini bus (there will be a couple or more pick up spots, depending on where folks are coming from)

10:00 am vinisterra

11:30 am 3 mujeres

1pm bibayoffand a picnic lunch, possibly from cafe bohemia, although that detail is also tentative at this point

2:30 pijoan

4:00 monte xanic

i suppose we can arrange a dinner afterwards if folks are interested.

as mentioned, this will be a long and tiring day. only hardy nomads need apply:lol:

So where are you planning the van pick up site to be? My self and BajaLeti ( Will and Leslie ) may be interested in this. We have always talked of doing a tour in the valley. I am not a big wine drinker and would most likely be just tasteing a little. So with a good meal at the end of the day I could be considered a DD for a few on this side.

Consider us tentative with some more info.

Thanks Sylens for setting this up. It sounds like it will be fun.

depends where people are coming from. one might be at the jazz cafe in macroplaza del mar (walmart shopping area) for folks coming from south of maneadero, another at our house near the calimax and waldo's on reforma...

the dd idea from folks from el norte may work out great. thanks for the offer and let's stay in touch.
