Off-grid solar installers in BCN?

Hi all,

Can anyone on the list recommend a "qualified" and experienced solar off grid installer in the BCN area? A friend of mine who is highly experienced in the SD county area has designed the system for us so all we need is for someone to install it. He was going to do at least part of it for us but a few weeks ago he was robbed (daylight) at gunpoint just south of Mexicali so he now refuses to come back to Baja (which he has traveled for over 40 years!)
Also in the hopes of minimizing dealing with the aduana any sources for PV cells and Outback gear would be appreciated.

thanks

Mike

What kind of mounts were you planning on using, and where were/are you planning on installing them?

If it is EDR in San Felipe, Jim S. is good. He lives in LVN and does solar installations of all kinds.

Roberto: We were planning on a ground mounted rack which can be added to easier if more capacity is needed. They would be about 100ft from our house on a slight ridge.

BajaRob: we are just west of San Pedro Martir park, so far away from everyone:yes:

Wornout: thanks, any more info a website perhaps?

My neighbor in SQ has a 1st class system and there is a US guy who does his work. He is local and is a certified expert of some kind. I'll try and find out more.
