It's a dogs life in Asuncion

This is always a sight that makes me smile...look closely at the back of the garbage truck...these canines are famous here and get lots of goody handouts on the garbage routes...they are one of the basuramen's doggies and are well loved and fed and are very proud riding the truck every day! It is one of the million things I love about Baja...no leashes...even the dogs respect and tolerate each other and enjoy life each day.

Lauri,

Mr. Gypsy and I had some part in the sunset house dog, we "accidently" feed him and he kept coming back! :wow: Tito is a great dog!

Oh, so it was you. Tito is a really good dog, never tried to come in the house, got along well with my dog, he let us know if anyone came close and of course ate lots of good dog treats.

Ah yes, the famous Tuto that rhymes with Puto...he's hilarious..whenever a gringo car pulls into the sunset casita...he's there to guard them! that's one local who truly LOVES and welcomes more gringos here!!!!

My dogs started training for our trip yesterday. They are going to have to learn some manners if they will be staying in town.

Vanilla in a supervisory role...

Shari, that was late November, 2001 at the Campo. Here's another one of them working on their 'volcano'. I need to look back through some of my archived photos for more...
