Ken, he's IN THE BLUE, ready to shed his skin -- blind to everything but dark/light movement at this point but he has the full range of close
heat-reading sensors. Great shots.

Thanks Osprey. At first I thought he was blind, but someone who knows a lot more about snakes than I do told me that was an indicator of an impending
molt. He's a little one, about a foot long, still out there guarding my mailbox
