You Don't Mess With Zohan
Nope - I'm not a movie critic. Haven't seen this new movie, but definitely intend to. Not that I've read any rave reviews. Only that part of it was
filmed in La Paz at Playa Balandra. I imagine it will get a good turnout for the premiere in La Paz since the movie hired a lot of local extras.
Here is the movie set in November 07: (note the tree in the 1st photo)
And here is the same location in December 07: (same tree)
I think the world is run by C- students.

Steve,
That is one of the beautiful places I would have missed had it not been for Carol.

Thanks for the information regarding the movie set. We were there over Thanksgiving and they were just hauling off the last few loads. We were
speculating as to what was going on. Balandra is one beautiful spot!

That looks like a nice place for a camp site. Can you do that there?

Pretty place, but it would take a lot more than Balandra scenery to get me to sit through anything with Adam Sandler in it.
All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

No camping at Balandra, but another mile up the road is Playa El Tecolote where you can camp.

I heard that you were looking more at "other" scenery. Surprised to hear that you noticed the beach.

How can you not like someone who was beat-up by Bob Barker?

I can't explain it.
"I do not love thee, Dr. Pell.
The reason why, I cannot tell.
But this I know, and know it well.
I do not love thee, Dr. Pell."
I'm really not sure why, I just can't stand the guy.

Saw the movie today... first scenes are on the beach with Cabo San Lucas in the background... later the Balandra Bay scenes... many very funny parts
in the movie (several not for children).
