Just talked to my friends today and the yellowtail have gone nuts at Tortuga. The other day they did well at the north end of San Marcos. The water is still real cool for dorado to be bunched up much so the yellowtail continue to be the game. Live bait is good and easy to make.

I've heard the same reports as Pescador but in the last three days lots of dorado 10miles out side the Santa Inez Islands then towards Tortuga. Lots of bill fish also sighted but hard to get them to take. My back is still out so I'm not fishing this week.

Thank you Bob and Susan!!

Wonder if the Poster who suggested that my recent experience out of Mulege was just a "One Time Occurance", has read the preceding Fish Reports??

Looks like the Great Sea of Cortez is alive and Well with Lots of Good Fishing.

Thanks for the Reports

You are right Skeet, actually we were trying to keep everyone feeling sorry for the current state of fish stocks and figured they would go to Alaska or somewhere else to fish and we could have the bonanaza all to ourselves.
Do you know how much better the fish bite when you are the only boat out there? And you keep trying to give away the secret. SHHHHHHHHH.
