san felipe to gonzaga

6/5-6/11 spent a couple days in san felipe then headed down to gonzaga.

did this in march, and the new asphalt ended at puertecitos. WOW what a change! now you continue on for another mile past puertecitos. you actually have to make a left turn to go down to the town. the asphalt continues south of the town, then becomes a well prepped dirt road, (for more asphalt).for another 1/2 mile. the rest of the road is very rough to huerfanito, then fast to gonzaga. Got to Alfonsinas and he was FULL! Antonio managed to get us a room, but he had a large party of 2 passenger vans that took up much of the hotel. Weather was nice, a little wind took the heat off.
