SCORE Cancels Las Vegas Race

The SCORE web site says the race was cancelled due to lack of entries. I hope this is not the case for other off-road races.

SCORE made it a non-points event this year. I guess everybody took a pass on it.

Check out the stands at the NASCAR events this year.

Especially the overhead shots, like the Infineon grandstands this weekend.

Bleak!!!

What happening nomad? (Newbie)
I pit with a couple of teams that run in 7s & sportsman truck and we usually make this race (fun & exciting).

It's a real bummer that they aren't going to award points for this race as it was something we looked forward to in July. It would seem that with the added cost of trans to and from Vegas it just isn't worth the time & effort without getting points for your effort.

There was some pretty good trash talking and racing going on at this event, not to mention the "side" monies the big boys were wagering on position made thing fairly interesting. :bounce:

Seeing a TT 4th & 5th gear on dirt then asphalt then to dirt again was extremely exciting for the fans. Kind of like the first turn in Ensenda without all the fender slappers! Not to mention having four or five if them in the same corner at the same time, whew it's a fender manufactures wet dream!

This will benifit some of the other smaller races in the high and low deserts which will be good to see.

A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both.
