Bajaxplorer Nerf Bars
Sometime ago there in one of the off road threads someone posted the manufacture of the nerf bars like Bajaxplorer has on his Toyota. I've tried
google on here and can't find the thread. As I recall he had three bars connected together on each side. I believe they were about 1 inch in diameter,
maybe a little bigger.
Anyone know who makes them or sells them?

Try asking Chris http://www.BajaTaco.com 'bajataco' on Nomad (not to be confused with 'Taco de Baja')... He has a really nice Taco (Tacoma) fixed up for desert
camping and driving...
Here is his truck page, you will like it!: http://www.bajataco.com/bajataco.html

Thanks David. I found out they are not called nerf bars but rock sliders. Stronger than a nerf bar and a little smaller from what I've found so far.

Nerf bars cave in, are heavy, and fat-diameter, thin-walled garbage. Rock sliders provide better coverage for the side of your truck and aren't quite
as goofy looking.
Nerf bars (or, Rock collectors):
Rock Sliders (the good stuff!):

Some of the better ones are custom made; this way you can have it the way YOU want it. 3-bars, 2-bars, 1-bar, square tubing, round tubing, different
diameters, different tubing wall thickness, different profiles.....
If you have a Toyota, check out Toyota Territory Off-Roaders Association.
One of the TTORA members or sponsors may be able to help you out.
Go into the Forum section and search for "sliders"
like this: Newbie Tech: sliders There are a couple of links in there that may be helpful.

So far the only place I've found that will do full size truck sliders is Stinkyfab in Vista, CA. Everyone does them for Toyotas and Jeeps it seems. I
did a place that did them on older chevy blazers thru 91. All short wheelbase stuff.
