Mulege Mission
Nice shots of the mission. When I was first there 30 years ago, God that's a long time, the rear of the convento evidenced considerable deterioration.
Have they done much to repair the building? Mulege is very interesting architecturaly, particularly when compared to the other contemporary churches
such as Loreto and San Francisco Xavier. The University of San Francisco has the surviving baptismal and burial records for the mission, and the
oldest date back to about 1718. There are also detailed inventories of all of the Baja missions from 1773 and 1774. Thanks for the shots.
