Frightening Police Officer

Is this another negative thread about the police in Baja?

Now, isn't he a frightening looking person?

When we saw Larry (sp) we stopped---only had an old camera with a dying battery. We told him we will come back and take more----he loved posing and wants prints.

He then helped us make sure we had the police office and police cell phone programed in our cell phone, just in case.

Last week with the camino boys

They're pretty good guys when you spend the time to get to know them.

That young man looks just like my nephew. There are many good young men and women working and risking there lifes as police in Mexico. They dont make the news because they are just doing there job. They hate the bad police too. I am glad to see that you can understand the difference. Thank you for the pictures.

With all the bad press they get, I loved this. We lived right across the street from the little police station in Cantu and these guys were our buddies. We would tell them when we were going to be gone overnight and they would assure us they would watch our house. Then when they would run their pila out of water they would come over and fill up their buckets so they could flush their toilet. We took them hot dogs and sodas and they loved it. Great people. They knew we were their friends and we felt the same about them.
