OK it is time for another game of name that plant
I am at a loss for what else to do since the board seems so angry these days..
This time I do know the answer to my question.
It is growing in my yard

I have no idea what it is, but I like it --- and I appreciate the post---nice to see a pretty flower.
Is it raining down your way? The surf here is wild from Fausto.
Thanks
Diane

We had a pretty good surge yesterday. Calmer today. No rain right here but it poured in places.

These grow wild in San Diego. I love them, so delicate. I don't know what they are called, but I loved picking them and bringing home big bouquets
as a child. I love arugula--I'd be very intrigued if that's what they are!
Thanks for the subject change...I've been doing some light skimming to see when the "tide" will change on the discussion/Q&A threads. Such
ugliness! Your picture is refreshing.

Just who do you think you are asking about flowers? Why this board is not for that kind of frivolous enterprise and furthermore -- whoops! Takes a
little while to slide down from the excitement of the war zone. Thanks Judy.

You are correct. I have it all over my yard. A few years ago, I let all of mine go to seed and now I have volunteers every where
I just wander around pinching the small young leaves off for my salads. I always throw in a few flowers. Almonds...I am not sure if that is the
flavor although is is nut like but also spicy.

Another arugula fan here-- I'd like to have some of those seeds too! And if arugula grows so easily here, why can't we find nice salad greens at the
markets??? Here in Loreto romaine is as good as we get.

Oh goodie...do I get a prize...some seeds maybe? I can just taste those little buggers...yummy...our nomad amiga Zoe plans to plant a big garden at
her new digs and Arugula would be a great addition...I bet it would even grow out here on the rock...so please save me some seeds and we'll figure out
how to get them here....fight crime(posts) with flower power!!
