There are a number of good taco stands and restaurants in Mexicali. Chinese, Sea Food, Italian, Mexican etc. I guess it depends on what you are looking for, how many times you are going to eat, and where you are staying. Try to give a little more details and I'll give you my opinions of where we like to eat.

Chinese-Dragon restaurant on Justo Sierra, Don Panchito plaza universidad on Justo Sierra.

Mexican- La Plazita,Las Campanas both on Justo Sierra, Cenaduria Selecta Calle G & Arista

Taco Stands- Nuevo tecolote on De las americas next to the muffler shop,

There are a ton more but these are a good start, moderately priced and great food.
