Day Trip to San Hipolito

Today a fellow Nomad and his family visited my family in San Hipolito so their teenage sons could meet some new friends. We had a terrific day...a baja classic...great fishing, great people, great food!
The kids started their day by being invited to play baseball. Then a neighbour invited us all out in his panga. We happened to have a couple rods and the kids were stoked when they both got a hit on the first cast! They caught Lupons, a Chile and 3 nice spotted calicos. There was still a big swell and we enjoyed it while fishing off the lighthouse there.
Then we were treated to awesome black sea bass tacos at Tita & Bimbos place on the beach.
As usual, the beer ran out so we sent off Noe and the gang on a beer run to the next village (the Nomad kids thought that was pretty cool...a 14 year old driving)
Then the kids had a blast boogie boarding together. Finally the water has warmed up!
Those kids had a terrific day and said it was a day they will NEVER forget!!! Oh yeah, AND we have a new member of the family who was born during the party...we got the call that Tita & Bimbo are now officially new grandparents...NIcole has arrived into this wonderful world.
So it truly was a day to remember...one for the books!
Here is a little album of our day if you care to see lots of smiling faces...

Really cool Shari! Please give our well wishes to Tita and Bimbo. We'll have a few more gifts for them on our next trip.

Shari-

Heartwarming stuff...living the dream and sharing it with a lucky bunch of others!

thanks for that vivaloha...you are so right...one of my favorite things is when the others....become part of our exteded family! it just keeps on growing and getting better and better as the others add their heartwarming presence to the family expanding everyones horizons. It has been very positive for all of us to share our cultures and I thanks our kind visitors for that.
