80 rounds from an AK-47? Shot down three officers. Glad I wasn't their
target. These guys were shooters. You can squeeze off 80 rounds with a twitch of your finger.

This peees me off to no end. Scum-bags killing police officers in the performance of their lawful duty. I hope to G-D HELL that Mexico takes their
F-ing gloves off and start wasting these c-ckroaches wherever they find them. Shoot first ask questions later. They also need to start arresting their
families to include their wives and children. Screw these A-Holes!

working for a rival gang. Which unfortunately is a common scenario.

Unfortunately, Mexican security forces are stuck between a rock and a hard place. There is so much pressure on them now about human rights abuses that
they are often putting their own lives on the line by holding fire in dangerous situations. My boyfriend, who is a federal police officer (PFP), was
in Sinaloa not so long ago, and several of his co-workers were gunned down in the street in Culiacan. Just a couple days later, his group was sent to
another state because of the fear that, in their anger, they would shoot first and ask questions later when encountering anyone carrying a weapon.
These guys have to show enormous restraint, all the while knowing that they themselves are prime targets for the bad guys, who won't hesitate a second
before opening fire on them.

I have suggested to all who will listen to me that Mexico needs to follow the example of "Los Pepes" in Colombia, which was a type of vigilante group
that targeted associates, lawyers and family members of Pablo Escobar Gaviria, assassinating them in the streets, much the same way Escobar had done
with judges and police. I think that the best thing Mexico could do right now would be to train an elite force that would eliminate high-level cartel
members in the same way that the cartels go about eliminating high ranking police officers. Yes, it would go against all principles of law and human
rights, but that has certainly never stopped the U.S. or Israel, either of which would be perfect to provide the training. In my opinion, killing the
guys on the ground level isn't going to do much in the long run because in a relatively poor country in which drug use is becoming more common, there
is an endless supply of young men ready to replace those they take down. The only way to hurt the cartels is to go straight to the top and cut off
their heads.

Please see the thread about the Mexicali Police commander and his wife being caught dealing drugs in LA. These guys all worked together in Mexicali-
