Curious about the recent south swell - did any folks get waves?

Just looking for a little surf report from the recent south swell...
Perhaps you were on the east cape, conejo, scorps or abreojos and care to mention
anything - even if it its shrouded in hazy coded surf protectionist language - just
wanted a little word on how it was breaking...doing my gringo-work-shuffle during the
summer up here in Southern Cal and wanted to here about the waves recently down
south...throw a dog a bone...thanks

I have no reports but your post made me wonder what's happening at 9 palms, the longest right I've ever surfed, it's been a while.

nueve palmas update-
was down there in April..pretty gross actually...
the mexi tourism bureau put up all these mini
palapas as if to highlight that the beach is beautiful
and "open" for business...the wave was its usual self...
didn't surf it, kinda slow and stuff but yeah the mini-
palapas are a reality of the growing interest in that area.

but alas, back to the original thread, SURF REPORTS for recent summer surf pretty please...

do you mean last weeks epic surf? It was awesome here...first south swell of the season. In a s.swell, the kids of Asuncion are so happy cause they are only a block away from the waves and lots of their friends come out to watch them surf...The normal break is a few miles away and so they have to bum rides and ony the hard core surfers go...but when surfs up in the village...all the kids are there cheering on the surfers...it's really fun. Swell is coming up a bit today...boogie boarding in the village should be perfect and the water has warmed up too.

Surf was killer here in Oceanside/Carlsbad yesterday and today. Hopefully will return home soon to Baja to take my boys surfing at Cerritos in BCS. The traffic sucks here. On the roads and in the water too!
