Tip of the iceberg

As this continues the whole nation may slip into anarchy and general despair.

Sad!!

Keep your passports up to date ....

If it all goes to H down here, we (unlike the Mexican people) can pack up and get out ....

Be thankful for that ..

Here in Santiago I don't feel any less safe than I did before. It is tragic, but there is nothing anyone can do about random acts of violence or about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

How many people dropped their applications to Virginia Tech?

None, because it was a RANDOM act.

Of course, your mileage may vary.

Could be but, the victims of toll road crime in north Baja were picked at random and the consequence had a heavy effect on tourism to the area.

Drove by Dennis' house earlier this evening. It was a little dark out, but I did manage to squeeze off one shot.

Very bad mistake

I think this is a very bad mistake they make because many people have not worried too much because they think that the violence don't affect them. Maybe this is what it takes for the people of my country to rise up and do something. I am sad that innocent people are being killed and pray that things will change soon. Not everybody has a passport to escape this.
