Batman arrested in TJ - twice!!

You just cannot make this stuff up.

"For the second time this week the TJ Municipal Police detained an American named Bruce Wayne, aged 33, who was arrested two days ago in Real del Mar, having been caught in the act of breaking open a gate.

The Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM), reported that this person has an arrest warrant in the United States for seven felonies and two for fraud in the state of Virginia.

He was arrested last Tuesday, August 5 after causing property damage by breaking a gate, and he tried to pay a bill with a counterfeit $100 bill; he also had two checkbooks on him from banking institutions that appeared to be false.

For the damages that he caused at Real del Mar, Bruce Wayne Higgins Jr. was turned over to the Public Ministry of Common Order, but according to him he paid $10,000 to a lawyer named Cesar Sanchez, who got him released.

This afternoon he was recaptured by Municipal Police officers on avenida Suchiate, between calle Rio Bravo and the Tijuana River for bothering passers-by.

The Municipal Police reported that he will be sent to the federal immigration authorities, which will return him to the US."

p.s It is very common for Mexicans to misname an American, mistaking the middle name for the last name of the person's father and the real last name for the last name of the person's mother. Thus "Bruce Wayne Higgins" becomes "Bruce Wayne". They just use the Spanish naming convention.
