Spotted Mexican Zebra!!!

Yes, BB2005 and I spotted this "zebra" near our local school this morning. What a character! After taking two pictures, I handed the guy 20 pesos, at which point the "zebra" must have thought it was the end of the workday. He lay down and absolutely refused to get up. Didn't want to embarrass the guy by photographing the work "laydown."

I thought you said he was a "spotted" zebra. Looks like a typical TJ zebra to me.

"Spotted" used as a verb. Clever, no?

And welcome back, by the way.

Great foto...When I was in high school (1950s) I had a picture of me taken on one of those zebras...I kept it for years...lost it in the Mulegé flood a few years ago....

So it says that you "spotted" a TJ zebra. Did you put spots on a zebra because I still didn't see any spots on him.;D
Perhaps you "located' a TJ zebra.:tumble:

Thanks for the picture. They stopped in front of our house yesterday also. How far up the hill did they go?

Cool paint job. Must be a good donkey to stand still for those perfect stripes. One would think that guy could make quite a bit of $ if he were there during the busy tourist weekends. How long until they get the idea up at La Buff?

Bob H's photo reminded me that I had one on file as well.

This photo was taken in front of the El Sarape in T.J., circa 1940's.

My grandmother is seated on the lower right hand corner, my grandfather is opposite her on the upper left hand side.

My mother got in big trouble for drawing the blue ink moustaches on the photo when she was a child.
