Real del Castillo info?

Has anyone been to Real del Castillo recently? I am planning a trip with a couple buddies for October to that area to do some exploring. We'll come down from Tecate via Laguna Hanson.

Love to hear if any Nomads have been to Real del Castillo.

BajaCat,

I was drawn to the area both by it's history (gold mining and former Baja capital) and also from talking with an old-timer from Ensenada about 12 years ago who told me he made many horseback trips into Real and the surrounding mountains in the 60's. He told me there's lot's to see.

I'm about to do some researching on the area and I'll let you know what I find.

Ted
