We had been waiting since the previous day. The semi's started going through that morning. We finally got up the nerve and duct taped the doors and back hatch, climbed through the window and went for it.

Right about the same day we went through this arroyo, it had flowed just the day before in La Ventana, which is about 50 miles north of San Felipe, but not as much as yours did in Viscaino, impressive, and good job getting across!

First day


It was sometime during the last week of Oct. 2006. This was the first day we arrived and realized we were stuck for the night.
