got beer? distributor around Ensenada?

Hi! I'm heading Punta Banda with a couple of friends for the weekend and would like to pick up a couple of cases of beer at a distributor in the Ensenada area.

I've been scanning my memory banks, but can't seem to remember exactly where one would be. Can somebody help?

We leave tomorrow!

Thanks!

Sandy

On the Transpenninsular Highway, going south, past the second Gigante which is on the left, a few blocks down on the right you will find the Tecate Dealer. The parking is not great, but they have everything there in cases.

After the Gigante but before the Calimax heading south thru Ensenada there is a Corona/Pacifico distributor on the ocean side of the highway.......but heck, you can buy a couple of cases of beer just about anywhere in Ensenada, including the Gigante and Calimax.

The prices are better though at the Distributors, and they have other brands besides Mexican brands.

Bypass Ensenada...

Forget Ensenada, buy your beer in Cantu. "Can-Cun" is the mini market's name that deals in Pacifico/Corona, $117 pesos mas o menos, if you have a deposit.
I'm not sure what the deposit costs if you don't have one case to exchange for another, as we have not had to deal with that for quite a while.
Cantu is right up the road, 3 minutes from Punta Banda, a lot closer than running back into Ensenada if your party gets thirsty, or when you're ready to return your bottles.
Be sure to keep your receipt if you want cash back for your deposit.
The weather here is beautiful. You'll have a good weekend.
