Another GPS question
Hello!
I'm getting my new Garmin Etrex GPS and now I need to choose between the BAJA NAVIGATOR from Larry or the BAJA EXPEDITIONER from BCmaps.
I'm looking for the best one for exploring offroad the BC ones has TOPO info but has anyone used one or both and can tell me what they like about
each.
The Navigator program is the least expensive and easiest to load and use, but will I miss the TOPO lines when I'm in the canyons etc... or do the TOPO
lines clutter things up and make a small screen harder to read?
Any help will be...helpful

From the web site
Full Mexico Atlas
The Baja Expeditioner has been discontinued and is now only available as part of this map

I have larrys map installed on my garmin, I haven't seen or used the other one. My Garmin (7200) has a large, 6 3/4 in. diag. screen. The topo
activates when zoomed in quite close. Seems accurate enough though the lines are spaced quite far apart. I still havent figgured out the scale used
for the topographic lines. I've only used it a couple of times, once in the t.j. Ensenada, Valle Guadalupe area, and another time on a recient trip
to El Rosario and the back country arround there. I am orerall happy with it, but need to spend more time in Baja and get to know it better.

I saw Phil's Garmin, and the maps look great to show you wherer you are on the peninsula and topography around you!

I wouldn't rely solely on the gps though. You need the almanac or another good map to verify it.
