Way to not see person's postings?
Is there a way to selectively keep certain individual's postings from showing up when signing on? I know I can refrain from reading them, but...

You already said it. It's a no brainer-don't look.

Other message board software products have the ability to construct an "ignore list", the Yahoo message boards for example. When you put board members
on the list you never see their posts. It doesn't appear that this message board system has that capability, but I'm not sure. Plus, with this system,
the ability to quote messages adds a significant complication to implementing an ignore list. However, it does allow for an ignore list in the U2U
system.
For some reason I don't understand, ignoring posters that annoy you is easier said than done, and that makes an ignore list useful. I'd like to see it
implemented here too.

Jack is correct
And the first one I would put on "bleep" is:
Jack Swords.

Just kidding Jack....
Sr. Swords is one of the really nice people on this board,
one of the reasons that you can stumble through the dross and trash to find gems from great explorers like
Jack Swords.
muy amable, amigo

I posted this thread to move the negativity and antimosity from the one by Judy which was about helping someone in need. Of course I can ignore
those folks who contribute little or nothing to the board. Been doing it since 2002 and before that the Amigos board. Obviously it worked evidenced
by subsequent posts. Thanks Dick, I try to stay on other boards where there is a common interest and civility. This board does, however, have some
great information from positive contributors. Be nice to avoid those with another agenda tho. Just don't understand why some people need to resort to
name calling.

Well Jack, here is the real solution. What we need to do is get Doug to open up a Baja Bashing Forum and then hopefully all the people who are so
negative about the whole baja experience can set on there and go off on each other (which must provide some entertainment value) and spend the whole
day talking about what a negative experience being in Baja is. I, like you, find most of those posts to be destructive and mostly irrelevant and by
having their own forum, they could show each other how intelligent and perceptive they truly are while the rest of us would be able to "continue to
suffer with our slanted views".

The real problem would be they wouldn't know who they are.

Sure the would. They already know.
Good Idea Pescador, however, I bet it catches some flak.
