Need current Loreto airport info

Does anyone know what airlines are now flying in and out of Loreto, where they originate from, and where they fly to?

Can't seem to get any straight answers from Alaska Air, Delta does not fly there anymore, and don't know about Aeromexico yet.

The airport phone number would be helpful, too.

Thanks for any input. :D

I believe Horizon (Alaska Air) flies in from LAX on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday afternoons. It's a small plane with not a lot of seats. I think Littoral still comes in from Hermosillo daily.

Thanks Bob and Jane. That info is much appreciated. If anyone has the airport number I will try calling them, too.

LTO

Pompano,

Yes, that's Horizon flying in on TU TH SU with a Canadair 50 seater. Alaska Air will be putting a 737 back on line as of Nov 1st to fly the LAX-LTO route on Fridays.

Aeromexico's feeder airline Aerolitoral has flights through HMO (daily) and LAP (twice a week). They originate in MEX.

My friend Febrero (Alaska gate agent extrordinaire) tells me that we may get a PHX flight as well.

If you go to a website like Travelocity and input a search from Loreto to wherever you are going and tell it to search all airlines, it will list all the airlines that fly to Loreto.

For sure..Orbitz, Expedia, etc....and thanks geobas. But living here and knowing of the recent disruptions and reschedulings of airline services in Loreto, it is very nice to get first-hand info from Nomads in Loreto. This type of 'onsite' information is one of the things that make resourcing Baja Nomads a pleasure. It's a great Baja-encyclopedia...in addition to searching the Internet.

Beginning early November, Alaska Airlines will fly four times per week between LAX and LTO. Tuesdays and Fridays will be with 70-seat Horizon aircraft. Thursday and Sundays will be with 144-seat Alaska Airlines 737 aircraft.
