Loreto to Tecate

Left LTO Saturday morning early to get by road construction about 10 miles north of town.. Coming along, but expect delays as there is only one lane open for about 3 miles at times.
Road is all good up by Sta Rosalita..New gas station just south of Vizcianio is open with all fuels
Did hit a 30 min delay up north below El Roserio (km 107-115), as they doing a major road widening in the mountains on the curves.
Military checkpoints all in place, and no problems
Federal police "radar traps" all in place near GN and SR, but noticed about twice as many new Dodge Chargers as they have stepped it up with their presence on the hwy.
Got to to Tecate at 6pm, and crossed with 5 cars in front of me (just like th old days!)
Saw lots of tourists heading south with boards/ boats/ buggies.. I guess when the economy get bad up here it's time to go to Baja

Yea, have you looked closely? Those hot looking Chargers have the V-6 engine. What a waste!
