Campo Beluga, Gonzaga?

Any info on Campo Beluga? We haven't been to Gonzaga in a couple of years and are planning a week next month at Campo Beluga. We have stayed there a couple of times and have had very pleasent experiences, hope nothing has changed.

Just was talked about... read the pages here on Nomad... Use the Nomad search... just type in Beluga!

We camped there just one night in 2007... was very nice, clean operation.

We have a house at Punta Final, went thru there twice last week and the store was closed each time and no campers. Asked friends at Alphi's about it and no one is sure what is going on there.

Thanks for the feedback, don't need the store, the last time we were there for Thanksgiving week we had the place to ourselves. The folks at the house were there and took care of the trash and bathroom/showers. We had a great time!

Might be going down again on Nov. 14-16, I'll stop this time if we make it down. I'll post the results.

I am going to be there next Sunday through Wednesday or so. There is never anyone there in December when I normally go--it is a great spot.

I will report anything of significance when I return on the 17th.

Has anyone camped at Bahia Calamajue? I am thinking of stopping a couple nights there.

Coco has discouraged me a few times from going there...said there were some bad guys there from time to time....

If you check it out, it would be good to hear what it is like...

(not trying to stir up "travel-fear", just passing on a local's opinion.
