Almost like a new Blvd. 2000. I would maybe think twice about taking that route.

This new road is intended to be a truck route.

No, the "Libramiento Ensenada" will go from the Ensenada-Tecate road to meet with the Ensenada-Ojos Negroas road. It will be a great way to avoid Ensenada totaly say if youre going to Laguna Hanson or San Felipe.
Yes if you are a trucker it will be better for you but it is intended for everyone, specialy since it will make for new housing and industrial developments, just like Blvd 2000.

Back to the subject at hand, the new Calimax - not only is there an ATM there are TWO of them, HSBC and Santander. Neither is functional yet, but they machines are there. The store is VERY NICE, great produce section and the place is well staffed. Now if they can just keep it that way!

As for the new Pemex between Maneadero and La Bufadora, the OXXO store is now open but the pumps are not yet ready.

I'll be going to Maneadero and I'll check it out if the mud in the entrance isn't too deep.
How's the hill into Packard, Kathleen? I'll bet it's like a ski-jump.

Now, if only we can get a decent market in San Quintin. Or better yet, a bypass road for about 25 miles to avoid all the congestion.

Getting out isn't too bad...I wouldn't want to come down into Packard without 4WD! It's a bit "slippery"! But otherwise, holding up well!
