World's Most Beautiful Nudibranch
I can't resist showing this one off. From a few weeks ago in Morro Bay. They are such stunning little animals:

Oh my, Ken - that's very beautiful. They are such luminescent little creatures. Thank goodness you allow me to see them through your
eyes... I appreciate that.

That must be the 'barbarensis' species. I remember it as being my favorite from your book, Ken. I would try to imagine how it was named. First found
at the Santa Barabara islands? Or perhaps the discoverer was Barbara? Or his wife or daughter were Barbara? No matter ...
A stunning jewel!

Thanks Igor. Correct, it is Janolus barbarensis. The common name is "Santa Barbara nudibranch". I think that refers to California's Santa
Barbara island. ++Ken++

you sure can take a picture. I can only aspire to your level of greatness. My dear husband got me an underwater camera, and I can only dream of
taking a picture like that!

I use a Fuji S2 Pro DSLR camera with various Nikon lenses (60mm for this nudibranch photo), in a Subal S2 aluminum housing, two Nikon SB-105 strobes.
This is probably WAY more than you wanted to know about my u/w photo equipment, BUT.....
